Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced In-Building Wireless Systems Designer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing state-of-the-art in-building wireless systems that extend public safety and cell phone communications to buildings, tunnels, and other structures .
This role is crucial for law enforcement and security applications.
Responsibilities
- Design In-Building Wireless Systems : Develop systems capable of extending public safety and cell phone communications to various structures.
- Project Execution : Lead the design of advanced in-building wireless systems for buildings, tunnels, and other structures.
- System Integration : Oversee the provisioning, commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting of DAS (Distributed Antenna Systems).
- Technical Leadership : Stay updated on newer technologies and equipment to ensure cutting-edge solutions.
- Technical Documentation : Produce high-quality technical documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Experience : Proven experience in the design and implementation of wireless communications systems.
- DAS Expertise : Proficiency in in-building DAS design for neutral host wireless cellular systems and public safety systems.
- Technical Skills : Experience in DAS provisioning , commissioning, integration, and troubleshooting.
- Installation Knowledge : Hands-on experience in the installation of fiber optic and coaxial cables.
- Frequency Bands : Experience working with systems operating in the 800MHz, 400MHz, and cell phone bands .
- Technical Writing : Excellent technical writing skills.
- Citizenship : U.S. citizenship is required.
- Driver’s License and Vehicle : Must have a valid driver’s license and a vehicle to travel throughout the NYC / NJ area
