Job Description
Responsibilities include :
- Customer Interface :
- Serve as the main point of contact and build strong relationships with various functional areas within our Strategic Customers, including R&D, Marketing, Procurement, Engineering, and others.
- Understand and address customer needs, concerns, and requirements to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Effectively communicate technical information and provide solutions to customer inquiries or issues.
- Sales Growth :
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities with our Strategic Customers.
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth for both new and existing opportunities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape to identify potential areas for business expansion.
- Technical Expertise :
- Develop a deep understanding of our products, services, and technical capabilities to effectively communicate their value proposition to the customer.
- Provide technical guidance, support, and training to both internal teams and customers.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as R&D and Engineering, to address customer-specific requirements or challenges.
- Project Management :
- Coordinate and manage projects involving cross-functional teams, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation of solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or issues, and take appropriate actions to mitigate them.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including project plans, reports, and customer communications.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications :
- BA / BS Degree; MS preferred in Food Science, Meat Science, Packaging, Agricultural Scientist or related disciplines preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear and concise information for non-technical audiences.
- Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of the food industry, specifically within the meat processing sector, is highly desirable.
- Willing to travel up to 50% to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.

- Computer aptitude and presentation skills.
- Knowledge / experience with a wide variety of packaging applications and products
- Comfortable in sales interactions / situations.
- Ability to drive projects independently.
