We are currently seeking a Senior Associate Director of Pipeline Optimization.
This position will support pipeline optimization efforts for Emory Healthcare patient prospects and the Woodruff Health Sciences team.
This position will report to the Director of Pipeline Optimization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Oversees and implements strategic pipeline optimization initiatives in support of institutional priorities.
Collaborates on the design and implementation of prospect identification projects and processes, using various databases and industry best practices.
Interprets biographical and complex health and financial information on individuals based on fundraising strategies and objectives.
Analyzes complex financial disclosure documents, real estate, and other wealth indicators for the purpose of determining accurate wealth capacity ratings.
Serves as team liaison for a defined group of development officers to ensure that portfolios are filled according to portfolio management guidelines with the most promising prospects, balanced by fundraising stage, capacity, inclination, and other indicators.
Collaborates with development officers, fundraising leadership, and other internal clients to understand portfolio needs, and implements innovative solutions to address moves management and fundraising strategies.
Synthesizes and analyzes prospect data, conducts, and reviews audits, and monitors data integrity for the purpose of improving the quality of the prospect-specific data.
Keeps abreast of current events, philanthropic trends, and Emory's fundraising objectives.
Fosters partnerships with major gifts teams and central services teams.
May lead or manage special projects as assigned.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS : In addition to the duties outlined above, the Senior Associate Director may be required to :
Perform research and wealth analysis on patient prospects and donors, working with confidential as well as publicly accessible information, with a view to assessing donor interest and viability.
Execute research-driven portfolio management and lead assignment programs to help guide the identification and assignment of prospective major gift donors in an efficient, organized, and timely manner.
Assist in developing the framework for portfolio review meetings, including overall purpose, strategy, data needs, and reporting materials.
Partner with Pipeline Optimization staff and utilizes knowledge of prospect research and portfolio management practices to provide regular prospect data, portfolio updates, and ad-hoc reporting.
Provide guidance related to best practices for prospect research and portfolio management serving as a resource to fundraising staff and answering questions regarding prospect tracking and portfolio analysis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor's degree and four years of experience in non-profit, advancement, or alumni engagement OR an equivalent combination of experience, education, and / or training.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Experience conducting prospect research, coordinating a prospect management system, directing activities toward prospect identification, database coordination, system design and / or report design and production, particularly for a patient constituency and academic medical center.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills with attention to detail, the ability to work with ambiguity, and navigate a complex work environment.
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills and possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience working with various technologies, including knowledge and experience with project management software, data analysis tools, and CRM systems.
Experience working independently as well as collaboratively to achieve goals, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Possess a high level of professionalism and commitment to confidentiality with sound judgment and discretion.
Prior experience in advancement, fundraising, alumni engagement, non-profit, or a university setting.
Flexibility to accommodate changing priorities and deadlines.
NOTE : This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department.
This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
