Lucerne Bakery Dessert Baker Position

Job Summary :

As a Dessert Baker at Lucerne Bakery, your primary responsibility will be to prepare and bake a variety of cakes and similar desserts that meet our bakerys high standards of quality and creativity.

In addition to creating desserts, you may also assist by preparing batch recipes for the pastry chef. Cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards are critical components of this role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Create and bake high-quality cakes and desserts : Prepare a variety of cakes and other non-pastry desserts following bakery standards.
  • Maintain creativity : Design and develop dessert offerings based on bakery needs and guest preferences, with a focus on cakes and custom designs.
  • Batch recipe preparation : Assist the pastry chef by preparing batch recipes as needed.
  • Clean and organize : Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that tools and equipment are properly cleaned and stored.
  • Follow bakery policies : Adhere to company policies, including food handling, sanitation, and safety practices.
  • Collaborate with the team : Work closely with the pastry chef, other bakers, and front-of-house staff to ensure all dessert needs are met throughout the day.

Schedule :

  • 30-45 hours per week
  • Exact schedule may vary depending on operational needs.

Pay Structure :

  • $15 / hour for monolingual employees , with overtime at $22.50 / hour.
  • $16 / hour for bilingual (English / Spanish) employees , with overtime at $24 / hour.

Como Panadero de Postres en Lucerne Bakery, tu responsabilidad principal ser preparar y hornear una variedad de pasteles y postres similares que cumplan con los altos estndares de calidad y creatividad de nuestra panadera.

Adems de crear postres, tambin podras ayudar preparando recetas por lotes para el chef de repostera. La limpieza, la organizacin y la adherencia a los estndares de salud y seguridad son componentes crticos de este puesto.

Responsabilidades Claves :

  • Crear y hornear pasteles y postres de alta calidad : Preparar una variedad de pasteles y otros postres siguiendo los estndares de la panadera.
  • Mantener la creatividad : Disear y desarrollar ofertas de postres segn las necesidades de la panadera y las preferencias de los clientes, con un enfoque en pasteles y diseos personalizados.
  • Preparacin de recetas por lotes : Ayudar al chef de repostera preparando recetas por lotes segn sea necesario.
  • Limpiar y organizar : Mantener la limpieza y la organizacin en la cocina, asegurando que las herramientas y el equipo estn correctamente limpiados y almacenados.
  • Seguir las polticas de la panadera : Cumplir con las polticas de la empresa, incluidas las prcticas de manipulacin de alimentos, saneamiento y seguridad.
  • Colaborar con el equipo : Trabajar estrechamente con el chef de repostera, otros panaderos y el personal de atencin al cliente para garantizar que se cubran todas las necesidades de postres durante el da.

Horario :

  • 30-45 horas por semana
