Responsibilities
- Welcome clients into the dental officespace
- Prepare clients fortreatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments equipment and materialneeded
- Sterilize instrumentsaccording to regulations
- Assist thedentist through 4handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide oral hygiene and postoperative careinstructions
- Keep the dental roomclean and wellstocked
- Scheduleappointments
- Maintain accuratepatient records and assist with paymentprocedures
Skills
- Proven experience as dentalassistant
- Knowledge of dentalinstruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safetyregulations
- Ability to performregulated nonsurgical tasks like coronal polishing is aplus
- Good computerskills
- Excellent communication andpeople skills
- Attention todetail
- Wellorganized andreliable
- High school diploma;graduating from dental assistant school ispreferred
- Additional certificationor training is an asset (e.g.EFDA)

Experience :
- Dental assisting : 1 year (Required)
- CEREC : 1 year (Required)
- Photography : 1 year (Preferred)
- CT scan : 1 year(Preferred)
License / Certification :
XRay Certification(Required)
