Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring skilled Machine Operators for projects located in and around the Cedar Rapids, IA area.
This is a full time opportunity with a pay rate of $24-29 / hour based on experience & skill level. If you are a Machine Operator and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!
Job Scope :
Work with copper materials
Operate a splitter pack or tandem machine
Place metal spooks into a machine, calculate width of metl
Set up machine & cut the metal size
Use machine to flatten metal to specific thickness
Use a forklift to load metal spools into the machine
Run machine monitoring metal for defects
Use overhead crane to lift bars out of furnace until theyre at a usable temperature
Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
2+ Years of Manufacturing Experience
Heavy Industrial Experience
Operator, Forklift Experience is a Plus
Casting Experience
Crane Experience Preferred
Mathematically Inclined
Background Check
Drug Screen
Proper PPE
