Express Employment is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Supervisor. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a Tier 1 manufacturing facility and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Set production goals and targets, and develop strategies to meet and exceed them
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to optimize efficiency and minimize waste
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
- Train and mentor production workers to develop their skills and enhance productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve any production-related issues and implement improvements
- Report on production performance and provide regular updates to management
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles is highly desirable
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
