POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Picks / pulls materials from stock using computerized manufacturing work orders and pick lists.
Principal Activities
- Receive purchased component items using JDE system
- Put away all inbound materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records on all raw materials; process all required paperwork pertaining to materials
- Operate forklift to load and unload trucks as well as move materials
- May be cross-trained in shipping function to assist shipping personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as necessary
Job Requirements :
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge Skills & Abilities
- Forklift experience a plus
- Familiarity with Vantage Epicor
- Attention to detail is critical
- Must work with sense of urgency
- Effective communication and problem solving skills
- Must have excellent verbal communication skills
- Must support and work in a team environment
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs on a frequent basis and be able to work standing and walking most of the day
- Excellent attendance record and solid performance record
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ Years Material Handling experience in a manufacturing environment
