Position

Rockefeller Capital Management’s Corporate Communications team engages with media, external stakeholders, Rockefeller employees and the broader community to raise awareness of the firm’s activities internally and externally.

This is a small, hands-on team that operates in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with the Corporate Communications and Marketing teams and support our firmwide communications efforts including across media relations, social media, and thought leadership.

You will play a key role in amplifying our storytelling strategy that touches both internal and external channels by helping develop content, write media pitches, draft communications, and participate in media monitoring.

You will also play a key role in our team’s innovation journey, driving solutions by leveraging data and technology to advance our communications capabilities and streamline processes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute compelling content for internal and external communications, including drafting, editing, proofreading, and posting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and insights for crafting compelling stories, updates, and announcements
  • Work creatively to define and utilize a range of different mediums (video, podcast, visual, other)
  • Monitor media and social media channels for relevant news and stay current with industry best practices
  • Support events, webinars, and other activities to increase brand visibility and engagement
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects to raise visibility of Rockefeller brand in key markets
  • Maintain critical documentation and processes that improve efficiency and create opportunity for the team
  • Support administrative needs of the team including answering phones, scheduling meetings and meeting prep

Qualifications

  • 0-2 years’ experience
  • A bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications or marketing is preferred
  • Financial services experience a plus

Skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results within deadlines.

Compensation Range

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown.

In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Rockefeller Capital Management offers a comprehensive benefit package including health coverage, vacation time, paid leave, retirement plan, and more.
