Overview : We are seeking an accomplished and visionary President to lead our elite CNC manufacturing shop specializing in the production of large, tight tolerance, high precision parts for defense, aerospace, and commercial applications.

This role offers a unique opportunity to drive operational excellence, strategic growth, and profitability within a cutting-edge manufacturing environment.

The President will have full P&L responsibility and oversee all aspects of production and staff, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leadership and Strategy :
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to achieve business objectives, foster innovation, and maintain a competitive edge in the precision manufacturing industry.
  • Drive growth initiatives, including market expansion, new product development, and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead the development and execution of long-term business plans, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and industry trends.
  • Operational Excellence :
  • Oversee all manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to stringent quality standards and production schedules.
  • Optimize processes to maximize efficiency, minimize lead times, and reduce costs while maintaining exceptional quality control.
  • Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across all functional areas.
  • Financial Management :
  • Assume full P&L responsibility, including budget management, cost control, and revenue growth strategies.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as needed to achieve profitability targets.
  • Drive initiatives to enhance profitability through cost optimization, pricing strategies, and efficient resource allocation.
  • Customer Focus :
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring exceptional service, responsiveness, and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with customers to understand their requirements, anticipate needs, and deliver innovative solutions that exceed expectations.
  • Team Leadership and Development :
  • Provide inspirational leadership to a diverse team of managers and technical professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Develop talent pipelines, mentor key personnel, and ensure succession planning to sustain organizational growth and capability.
  • Regulatory and Compliance :
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100), and safety protocols.
  • Champion a culture of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship throughout the organization.

Qualifications :

  • Proven track record of executive leadership in a precision manufacturing environment, ideally with experience in CNC machining for aerospace, defense, or similarly demanding industries.
  • Strong business acumen with demonstrated success in P&L management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
  • Technical proficiency in CNC machining processes, quality systems, and advanced manufacturing technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, build partnerships, and represent the organization at industry forums and with key customers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing) and familiarity with ERP systems are advantageous.
