President responsibilities include :

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision and strategy for the company’s growth and expansion in the commercial construction market.
  • Collaborate with the board and executive management team to set strategic goals and priorities.

Operational Management

  • Provide leadership and direction to all company divisions and departments.
  • Ensure efficient and effective project management, from bidding through project completion.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of construction policies, procedures, and standards.

Financial Management

  • Oversee the Director of Finance to ensure sound financial performance, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Monitor key financial metrics of the company’s performance. Identify trends and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability.
  • Establish financial controls to mitigate risks and maintain financial stability.

Client & Stakeholder Relations

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Enhance the company’s reputation for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Talent Management

  • Attract, retain, and develop top talent for the organization.
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Mentor and develop future leaders within the company.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure a strong commitment to safety across all company operations.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Innovation & Technology

  • Drive the adoption of innovative technologies and practices in the commercial construction arena.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements, applying relevant innovations to improve efficiency and competitiveness.
  • Drive expansion to new markets in New Hampshire and the greater Northeast.

President qualifications include :

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field ( Master’s degree preferred )
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in the commercial construction industry, including a minimum of 5 years in an executive role with a proven record of successfully managing and growing companies
  • On premise position will work out of the Rochester, New Hampshire office - if relocation is required, assistance may be provided.
  • Proven record of leading teams and managing complex construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial forecasting, and profit-and-loss management.
  • Experience developing and executing business strategies, driving growth, and leading organizational change.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Expertise in assessing and mitigating risks, including safety, regulatory, and financial risks.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges and take decisive action.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment while maintaining focus on long-term objectives.
