Basic Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 1+ years of sales experience
• Completion of a Zurich-approved Apprenticeship program with an Associate Degree (no prior sales experience required).
• Ability to obtain insurance sales licenses where required.

Preferred Qualifications :

• 4+ years of business-to-business outside sales experience.
• Strong understanding of direct sales principles, closing techniques, and industry-specific terminology.
• Familiarity with insurance industry regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current insurance sales licenses (where required) or the ability to be licensed.
• Experience with financial statement analysis.

Background :

Zurich Direct Markets specializes in offering Property and Casualty insurance and F&I products to the automotive industry, supported by a dedicated field sales team that regularly engages directly with clients.

In this role, we’re seeking a top-performing individual with exceptional outside sales skills.

Responsibilities :

• Identifying and developing new business prospects, focusing on providing Property and Casualty insurance to large automotive dealers, while also supporting F&I product marketing within the assigned territory.
• Attending Automotive industry events to promote Zurich’s sales and marketing initiatives.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
• Effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders via various channels (in-person and virtual) to maintain solid relationships.
• Managing and growing your assigned territory to achieve profitability and exceed sales targets.
• Conducting sales presentations either in-person or via Microsoft Teams.
• Collaborating with field team members to ensure seamless implementation of programs and products, while strengthening customer relationships.
• Working remotely in an entrepreneurial environment.
