Summary

The Senior Field Engineer plays a key role in executing layout, line, and grade operations for concrete construction projects. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to design specifications while collaborating closely with field engineers, project managers, and superintendents. The Senior Field Engineer serves as the technical expert in field layout, supporting quality control and continuous improvement across job sites.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Project Execution :

Interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications to develop layout data.

Ensure data accuracy and completeness of layout files (CAD, Trimble, etc.).

Work directly with project engineers and superintendents to maintain schedule alignment.

Maintain accurate field layout logs and ensure timely submission of as-built documentation.

Required Experience, Education, and Qualifications

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.

10+ years' experience in a field engineering role at a large concrete contractor or general contractor.

Experience with complex multifamily or mixed-use structures.

Work Environment / Physical Demand

This position primarily works in the field on our projects and occasionally requires travel to the office as needed. This position requires long periods of standing, crouching, walking, and climbing up and down stairs.
