Job Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the operating plan that implements the vision and strategic direction, including long-range capacity planning, with an emphasis on execution.
- Manage and monitor Division operations relative to the comprehensive firm business plan, including necessary adjustments to structure, processes, systems, and organizational capabilities.
- Evaluate, on an ongoing basis, the efficiency and productivity of client operations personnel and underlying processes utilized in the department.
- Evaluate, on an ongoing basis, the efficiency and productivity of all members of the Wealth Management Advisor Team and underlying processes utilized in the department.
- Manage operational policies and procedures and be certain they are reviewed and updated in a timely manner.
- Partner with the Firm COO to set the tone of the division and model desired behaviors. Developing and maintaining a culture of service and communication excellence both internally and externally.
- Partner with the Firm Director of Business Development & Marketing to develop and evaluate the Division marketing program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience within a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm with recent tenure in an operations role.
- A Master’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred, with a focus in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Economics.
- Demonstrated strength in strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
- Proven ability to drive successful execution of operational initiatives.
- Exceptional executive-level communication skills, both internal and external.
- Established track record as a people leader, with strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
- Strong desire and ability to thrive in a smaller organizational setting.
- Proficiency in training financial planning associates on technology solutions and best practices within the firm.
- Willingness to undertake additional duties as required by the role.
- Not open to candidates seeking relocation at this time.
Preferred Experience
- Proficiency in utilizing Portfolio Management and Financial Planning software platforms such as eMoney preferred.
- A background in wealth management, tax planning, or estate planning is preferred.
