Job Description
- Lead month-end close activities, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage intercompany transactions, including reconciliation of intercompany accounts, resolution of discrepancies, and coordination with subsidiaries to ensure timely and accurate recording of transactions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to resolve intercompany issues, streamline processes, and improve controls.
- Prepare and review intercompany agreements, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and analysis for management review and external audit purposes.
- Stay current with accounting regulations and industry standards related to intercompany transactions and implement best practices as necessary.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives to support continuous improvement and operational excellence within the finance function.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and intercompany transactions within a manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and accounting principles, with specific knowledge of intercompany accounting requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
