Application Engineer for Enterprise Data Management

Job Family : SalesReq ID : 418222As an Applications Engineering Consultant with Siemens EDA’s Systems Defense Industrial Base AE Team, you will support consultative sales efforts at the world’s leading aerospace and defense companies.

Your primary responsibility is to secure technical design wins for Siemens EDA's product and service offerings in the area or Enterprise Data Management (EDM).

Specifically, you will be responsible for driving sales and adoption of our core PCB authoring, multi-board system design, and Data Management solutions.

Your territory coverage will consist of Accounts located in the United States, with a focus on Aerospace and Defense accounts.

You will be responsible for collaborating with peers located all over the world and communicating essential status updates to a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external.

Participate in the development of account sales strategies leading to market share gains for Siemens EDA.Job Qualifications : The successful candidate : Exhibits PCB design competency with a minimum of 5 years PCB design experienceIs familiar with usage and administration of ECAD data management solutionsExhibits a passion to learn and perform at the cutting edge of systems design technologyHas the desire to broaden exposure to the business aspects of technical salesEnjoys contributing to the success of a great teamPossesses strong public speaking skills and the ability to steer dialog in a crowded roomCan deliver, influence, and execute go-to-market strategiesPossesses a demonstrated ability to build strong rapport and credibility with customer organizations while maintaining an internal network of contactsHas experience scripting / programming in VBScript and / or PythonModerate travel is required (approximately 25%).

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education / training.
