The Neighborhood and Human Services department is hiring Teacher / Caregivers for the AM / PM Before and After School Program.

Peoria's Youth Programs provide childcare at 22 elementary school locations within the Peoria United School District. The AM / PM program is designed for students ages 5-14 and is licensed by the Department of Health Services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a childcare provider to collaborate with school personnel to develop a growing program.

Teacher / Caregivers supervise and monitor children by actively participating with them through play and staff led enrichment, such as literacy, arts and crafts, and STEAM projects.

The hiring rate for this position is $16.72.

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to :

• Implement the execution of an activity, event or program with some direction.
• Supervise and monitor children in your care by actively participating with them.
• Enjoys fast-paced schedule and the opportunity to make a difference.
• Work the required July 4

Special Event in the summer.
