What you'll do...

As a part of Walmart Global Tech, you’ll build industry defining reusable customer and partner facing services and products to lead differentiated experiences and revenue.

You will be in the unique position to be of service to both our customers and our associates as a member of this organization supporting all segments of Walmart.

The position is in Omni Tech US- Business and Chief of staff team within Walmart Global Technology. The team identifies focuses on short- and long-term technology strategy for the Walmart US business and enables convergence of strategic efforts and future direction of business programs across the enterprise.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation.

From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.

com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you'll do :

Drives the awareness and alignment of strategic initiatives by helping multiple areas of technology within Omni-tech develop key metrics, strategies in successfully managing cross-functional stakeholders inside Tech.

Directs the prioritization and alignment of key initiatives, roadmaps, and strategic allocation of resources for the business in partnership with product and tech teams.

Evaluates tradeoffs and choices by calibrating change impact via AOP, timeline and resourcing in a cross-functional stakeholder environment to help drive roadmaps.

Partners with portfolio teams to ensure progress is tracked and communicated across business teams.

As needed partners with TPMs to ensures reporting of project status and results to stakeholders and executive leadership;

identifying and communicating interdependencies across operations and business units; and overseeing the long-term planning and resource allocation process for the enterprise's infrastructure.

  • Collaborates on projects and project teams for the executive leadership by, determining scope, deliverables, objectives, and project plans and ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategies;
  • determining key project metrics and translating project requirements into goals; analyzing approaches to meeting goals and benchmarking with competitors;
  • using data points to develop a plan for the best approach that addresses timelines, expected outcomes, and resources needed (for example, talent, equipment, financial);
  • influencing leaders to procure resources; partnering with key stakeholders to create implementation and / or transition plans;

and overseeing and driving the project team to meet the timeline.

Partners with the senior leadership on special business initiatives by, understanding what business goals need to be achieved;

developing solutions to help drive execution of the goals; recommending solutions to close gaps; and collaborates with vendors to leverage benchmark best practices to support recommendations and solutions.

Creates accountability for delivering key business outcomes :

Drives a strategic narrative focused on key metrics engineering is influencing and controlling to track progress to drive leadership accountability and a data heavy rigor in tracking weekly progress.

Drive horizontal interconnectedness inside the team, within global tech and across product, finance, and business cross functional partner groups.

Thought partners with Finance, Tech., Business and Product leadership to drive key business outcomes from an enterprise / flywheel perspective.

Co-create strategies for key areas of focus inside Tech and across business teams.

Creates avenues for improving associate’s engagement and opportunities to grow, learn and innovate.

Biz Ops Functions :

Partners with people managers and HR to drive Belongingness and D&I goals

Manages headcount, risk assessment, cost optimization and P&L for the L3 leader

Manages participation across global tech led initiatives

Minimum Qualifications...
