Engineering Cost Estimator

Principal Responsibilities :
Works with engineers to identify processes and tooling that may be required to produce the product being cost estimated.
- Collaborate with engineer team
- Identifies labor, material and time requirements
- Computes costs
- Creates quote responses and submits them to the Sales department.
- Analyzes completed jobs to compare quoted labor time, material, and outside processes.
- Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements :
- 2 year Technical / Engineering degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing estimating or engineering.
- AutoCAD / Inventor 3D experience
- Experience in metal working manufacturing environment
- Roll form, press brake, and welding estimating experience
