LHH Recruitment Solutions is recruiting a Civil Project Engineer / Manager for a consulting client in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This role will be a hybrid schedule working three days a week in-office and involves collaborating with a Senior Engineer across diverse project types.
This position presents the chance to engage in site development projects encompassing healthcare, multifamily housing, commercial spaces, industrial sites, educational facilities, and more.
Projects include overseeing and designing from inception through construction. Responsibilities include managing engineers and technicians to prepare design calculations and reports for site grading, stormwater drainage, domestic water systems, sanitary sewers, and roadways.

Responsibilities :
- Use AutoCad / Civil3D for designing and detailing small to medium-sized projects within budget and time constraints.
- Mentor and manage a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
- Act as the primary contact for clients, contractors, and other design disciplines.
- Perform quality control checks on produced work.
- Support construction administration, including shop drawing reviews, RFIs responses, and field observations.
- Attend design and construction meetings.
- Monitor project budgets and manage client invoicing.
- Occasionally work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
- PE license in New Mexico or the ability to obtain one within three months.
- 5-8+ years of civil engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Minimum 4 years of site development experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with a PE license.
- Proficiency with Civil3D, StormCAD, FlowMaster, WaterCAD, AutoTurn.
- Familiarity with site entitlement processes in the Albuquerque area.
- Strong interest in participating in company initiatives.
- Construction field experience.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
