Are youseeking an opportunity to work with Semiconductor manufacturingequipment You will provide customer support for onsiteinstallations repairs and maintenance of semiconductor equipmentprimarily in Hillsboro Oregon.

You will receive training in AustinTexas or Hillsboro Oregon for a period of 13 months.

This position requires fulltime presence at your assignedoffice(s) / worksite(s) / territory.

Responsibilities :

• Check and maintain equipment within factory standardspecifications of system equipment.
• Instructcustomers in the operation and maintenance of the systemequipment.
• Serve as company liaison withcustomer on matters for assigned projects (i.e. installations andmajor component replacements).
• Perform complexrepair maintenance or unit replacement according to factoryprocedures independently and with others.
• Provide technical support to customers and respond toquestions regarding operation procedures equipment malfunctions andother technical issues to minimize equipment down time and ensurepositive customer relations.
• Identify andreport equipment error and status updates related to equipmentperformance issues to aid in troubleshooting ormaintenance.
• Maintain accurate documentationof activity and provide periodic reports.
• Conduct training for customer personnel ensuringproficiency of service and operations.
• Workwith other technicians in the field to troubleshoot and serviceequipment.

Qualifications :

• Requires a Bachelors Degree in electrical or mechanicalengineering or equivalent experience (i.e. technical trainingmilitary training or technical school) plus 12 years of relatedexperience
• Knowledge of Linux operating systemis preferred for operating and troubleshooting thesystem
• Minimum 3 years of experience in arelated field (i.e. semiconductor manufacturingequipment)
• Hands on mechanical skillsrequired
• Hands on experience with electronictesting tools required
• Able to work onequipment alone and work with other engineers as a team playerunder challenging situations
• Additionalexperience or knowledge in optical lasers software roboticsprecision mechanical skill or chemical are plus
• Excellent trouble shooting skills verbal and writtencommunication skills
• Customer supportexperience is a plus
• Must be able to traveland work flexible schedules
• Must feelcomfortable working in a cleanroom environment most of the day(wearing full clean room suit facemask gloves safetyglasses)
• May require domestic travel (validdrivers license and acceptable driving record necessary).Additionally because this position requires driving for companybusiness as an essential function of the job must remain incompliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
• Position requires continuous physical effort;intermittent and longterm work cycles; standing walking sittingrepetitive motion and lifting up to 25 pounds unassisted.

Liftingmore than 25 lbs requires additional help. Employee may be requiredto work at a computer terminal for long periods of time.

Employeewill be able to hear and understand speech at normal levels and onthe telephone. Position requires effective communication skillsverbal and written form.

Mental alertness is a must. Employee isrequired to demonstrate continued knowledge of Haz / Com regulationsand requirements.

Must be able to work in a cleanroom environmentthis includes wearing protective clothing. Employee may be exposedto atmospheric conditions such as : dust fumes noise and varyingtemperatures (to within OSHA standards).

Domestic and International travel may berequired .
