I.T. Specialist Purchasing and Procurement

As a I.T. Specialist, within Purchasing and Procurement, of the HealthSystem, you will be supporting an existing team, given the influx of work, to support the end client with quoting, ordering, purchasing and inventory of their desired device, weather that be an Apple or PC.
Responsibilities :
- Quotes created based on the incoming tickets of what the staff needs from an equipment perspective and then this resource will quote what device they will be receiving based on the features and functionality they are using it for, to prepare for purchasing.
- Roughly 5-10 tickets per day through ServiceNow to be open, resolved and closed for completion
- Documentation within ServiceNow to keep an updated record of the events that occurred during intake to processing to delivery.
Requirements :
- Comfortable working with both Apple and Windows operating systems
- Basic understanding of hardware and IT familiarity surrounding the framework
- Knowledge of both Apple and Windows hardware Needed to quote computer systems
- Very good people skills large portion of role is speaking with medical professionals (doctors, nurses, administrators) and determining appropriate computer needs
- Ability to take instruction and follow established processes
- Must have ability to lift / transport computer equipment between campus buildings
- Organized Must have ability to document clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel a plus
