Inventory SAP Clerk
Location : Charlotte, TN, US, 28213 Primary Function
Process and check availability of parts and accessories for shipment in the Transportation Management (TM) module. Assist company employees with shipment coordination by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities
- Route orders through SAP / TM module to parcel shipping area and note special order instructions to warehouse personnel as needed.
- Verify stock and expedite parts when necessary.
- Handle customer walk-in business of parts and accessories.
- Compute quotes for parcel shipping charges.
- Print parts parcel deliveries and transfer orders in a timely manner. Supply all appropriate documentation for export orders.
- Print backorder deliveries and transfer orders.
- Route orders for other branch plants when needed.
- Handle any shipment tracking requests.
- Provide notification to parcel carriers of freight reconsignment and other required communications.
- Other clerical duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Shipping Clerk Experience preferred
- Data entry and computer skills are also required, to include experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word / Outlook / Excel.
Education
High School Diploma or GED Years of Experience
Minimum of 6 months related work experience Physical Requirements
