Purpose of Role :
This position will play an integral role in designing next generation Dredge related solutions within our collaborative team.
A successful candidate will use their creativity to support current projects and develop new products. The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to develop high quality products quickly.

Key Responsibilities :
Understanding & uncovering customer needs while generating innovative ideas & product solutions
Planning and running experiments that result in product improvements
Developing products and tooling that meet customer and manufacturing requirements
Working with manufacturing to ensure products meet quality, schedule, & budget by participating in first article manufacturing trials, lab testing, and field trials
Independently manage schedules of internal and external resources
Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Effective communication, problem solving, project management and organizational skills
CAD modeling proficiency (NX preferred)
Ability to travel up to 5% to manufacturing and customer sites.
Passion for developing new & innovative products and solutions
High degree of creativity and ability to think outside the box
