Hybrid (3 Days on-site / 2 Days Remote)

Purpose of Role :

This position will play an integral role in designing next generation Dredge related solutions within our collaborative team.

A successful candidate will use their creativity to support current projects and develop new products. The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to develop high quality products quickly.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Understanding & uncovering customer needs while generating innovative ideas & product solutions
  • Planning and running experiments that result in product improvements
  • Developing products and tooling that meet customer and manufacturing requirements
  • Working with manufacturing to ensure products meet quality, schedule, & budget by participating in first article manufacturing trials, lab testing, and field trials
  • Independently manage schedules of internal and external resources
  • Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement
  • Safety First : Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Effective communication, problem solving, project management and organizational skills
  • CAD modeling proficiency (NX preferred)
  • Ability to travel up to 5% to manufacturing and customer sites.
  • Passion for developing new & innovative products and solutions with a high degree of creativity and ability to think outside the box
