Purpose of Role :
This position will play an integral role in designing next generation Dredge related solutions within our collaborative team.
A successful candidate will use their creativity to support current projects and develop new products. The ideal candidate will have a knack for learning and leveraging these tools to develop high quality products quickly.
Key Responsibilities :
- Understanding & uncovering customer needs while generating innovative ideas & product solutions
- Planning and running experiments that result in product improvements
- Developing products and tooling that meet customer and manufacturing requirements
- Working with manufacturing to ensure products meet quality, schedule, & budget by participating in first article manufacturing trials, lab testing, and field trials
- Independently manage schedules of internal and external resources
- Identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous process improvement

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Effective communication, problem solving, project management and organizational skills
- CAD modeling proficiency (NX preferred)
- Ability to travel up to 5% to manufacturing and customer sites.
- Passion for developing new & innovative products and solutions with a high degree of creativity and ability to think outside the box
