Peninsula Grill is an esteemed fine dining establishment committed to providing an exquisite culinary experience. We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate Maitre D' to join our team.

Responsibilities : Guest Relations :

Guest Relations :

  • Greet guests with warmth and sophistication, ensuring a memorable first impression.
  • Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.

Front-of-House Operations :

  • Oversee the flow of service, coordinating between the kitchen and the dining room.
  • Ensure the restaurant is set up to the highest standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.

Staff Leadership :

  • Lead, train, and motivate the front-of-house staff to deliver impeccable service.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate special instructions and menu changes.

Customer Service :

  • Anticipate and address guests' needs, ensuring a seamless dining experience.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with professionalism and grace.

Wine and Menu Knowledge :

  • Have a comprehensive understanding of the menu and wine list.
  • Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations.

Problem Resolution :

  • Resolve any issues that may arise during service promptly and diplomatically.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to address guest preferences and dietary restrictions.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as a Maitre D' or in a similar role within a fine dining establishment.
  • Strong knowledge of fine dining etiquette, menu offerings, and wine service.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.

Education :

Degree in Hospitality Management or a related field (preferred).
