Our client is currently seeking a Director of Revenue / Finance for a food manufacturer located in Northern VA outside of DC.
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Lead the US Revenue team in achieving revenue goals across various sales channels.
- Partner with Finance and Operations to ensure accurate revenue and margin reporting, KPI tracking, and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, R&D, QA, Operations, Costing) on new product launches and limited-time offers (LTOs).
- Work with the Costing Director on hedging strategies and customized pricing models.
- Oversee monthly price updates for different product groups.
- Monitor revenue progress within Key Accounts and collaborate with Sales.
- Generate weekly reports on revenue trends and forecasts. Develop proactive strategies to address potential margin compression.
- Review and provide recommendations on contract terms to optimize company revenue.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to support revenue management activities.
- Resolve revenue-related issues promptly.
- Approve pricing and manage pricing processes.
- Participate in strategic initiatives as a core team member.
- Provide leadership and support for team members.
Qualifications & Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in revenue management, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), or costing / pricing analysis, ideally within the airline industry or a similar fast-paced pricing environment.
- Proven track record of success in managing and leading teams.
- Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of costing, pricing, and return on investment (ROI) calculations.
- Experience developing and implementing revenue strategies.
