KeyResponsibilities :
- Assignsand supervises the work of Team Members in a section trainsculinary members and apprentices in all areas of their outlet orsection
- Plans and coordinates activate andassist in the development of short and longterm goals set byRestaurant Executive Chef
- Assists theRestaurant Executive Chef in managing the performance of ourteam
- Responsible for the kitchen operation inthe absence of the Executive Chef / Restaurant ExecutiveChef
- Responsible for the daytoday operations ofthe Culinary Department ensures guest satisfaction in allassigned outlet and employee caf
- Ensures thatfood is prepared according to standardized recipes andspecifications to maintain consistency and ensure all qualitystandards and food cost standards aremet
- Ensures that all food products are handledstored prepared and served safely in accordance with hotel andgovernment Food Safety guidelines
- Other dutiesassigned asneeded
Qualifications :
- Minimum 5 yearscooking experience including experience in a fine diningrestaurant
- Experience in a luxuryhotel with comparable service andstandards
- Certificate or RecognizedInternational Equivalent
- Valid King County FoodHandler Certificate required
- Previoussupervisory experience
- Excellent interpersonaland communication skills
- Aspires to become aExecutive Chef with Fairmont Hotels andResorts
- Must be an effective supervisor traineradministrator and team player with strong communication andorganizational skills
- Must be innovative detailoriented and qualityconscious
- Must have valid USAworkauthorization
