Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop and gain new customers
- Be able to close new sales and renew business on annual basis
- Work closely with Account Managers / Executives and Marketing Coordinator regarding placement of new / renewal business.
- Interpret, analyze, negotiate, and offer rmendations on coverage based on individual client needs.
- Follow all systems, workflows,pliance procedures, and insurancepany regulations.
- Respond to client questions and maintain appropriate correspondence / documentation in the client file.
- Prospect sectors or market areas by identifying business needs and proposingpany products and services.
- Maintain currency and further develop expertise in declared sector or market area by networking and participating in professional development activities.
- Obtain prospects and actively pursue and create interest by telephone calls, writing letters, or occasional personal visits.
- To attend insurancepany meetings for public relations purposes.
Required Qualifications :
- Effective written and verbalmunication skills.
- Experience in the insurance industry with a strong emphasis on personal lines insurance is preferred but not required.
- Florida Property & Casualty insurance license 2-20 Required
- Proficient with Microsoft Tools, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- This Position requires routine travel, which may require the teammate to drive their own vehicle or a rental vehicle. Acceptable results of a Motor Vehicle Record report at the time of hire and periodically thereafter, and maintenance of minimum acceptable insurance coverages are requirements of this position.
