Job Opportunity : Intake Specialist
Shift : Monday - Friday, 7am - 4pm
Location : Carlsbad, CA 92010
Pay : $18 - $20 per hour
Start Date : Mid-July
Medix is hiring a bilingual Intake Specialist out of Carlsbad with an awesome organization! This role involves managing reception, supporting social services and employment departments, handling participant data, and coordinating supportive services.
Responsibilities :
- Greet clients, answer calls, manage emails
- Handle intake paperwork and data entry
- Perform initial eligibility screenings
- Support housing stability programs
- Oversee mail services
- Maintain appointment schedules
- Order supplies and ensure cleanliness
- Accurately document case information
- Meet program outcomes
Requirements :
- 1+ years in social services or nonprofit preferred
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Bilingual (Spanish / English) required
- High School Diploma or equivalent
