Discover your #H2Opportunity AECOM is seeking a Mid-level Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and / or transportation related projects for an opening in our Sacramento, CA office.

In this role you’ll have the opportunity to work on flood protection and design of a new off-stream storage dam in Northern California.

Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to : + Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including : design, analysis, inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities + Development of plans, specifications, and construction estimates.

  • Collaborate with teams for analysis for dams, reservoirs, levees, canals, tunnels, pipelines, flood protection systems, and conveyance facilities.
  • Preparation of technical reports, memos, and engineering design and construction related documents. Qualifications Minimum Requirements : + Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education + California Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Preferred Qualifications : + Experience with Caltrans or other DOT transportation projects + Master’s degree in civil engineering + Experience with CADD i.

e. Civil 3D and Microstation Open Roads + Experience with HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HY-8 modeling software preferred Additional Information #LI-EM1 Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
