The Merchant Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and initiatives that optimize the collaboration, productivity, and effectiveness of the Sales and Marketing teams.
They play a critical role in driving alignment and efficiency between the Sales and Marketing teams. By providing the necessary tools, resources, and support, this role helps maximize the effectiveness and productivity of both teams, ultimately contributing to the overall success of the organization.
As a Merchant Marketing Manager, you will own and drive initiatives to promote partnered merchants on Favor’s channels in exchange for revenue.
What you'll do :
- Enable the Sales team to have effective conversations with prospective and current merchant partners by partnering with the Creative team to optimize sales materials, pitch decks, one-pagers, and case studies
- Partner with Media, CRM, and Merchandising teams to develop marketing campaign playbooks to inform prospective and current merchants how they would be marketed on Favor’s CRM, media, and merchandising channels, including the value it will drive for their business
- Join sales conversations and pitches to merchants, providing marketing expertise and helping merchants understand the value of marketing their brand through Favor channels
- Partner with marketing stakeholders and channel owners to plan, execute, and optimize merchant marketing campaigns
- Partner with the Merchandising team to coordinate in-product experiences and features with marketing campaigns to drive mutually beneficial results for merchants and Favor
- Analyze campaign performance metrics and provide detailed reporting to internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating the impact of marketing efforts
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment of goals and objectives
- Provide feedback and insights to Sales and Marketing teams to drive continuous improvement
Skills you have :
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in place of a degree)
- 4 years of marketing experience
- Proven experience ideating and executing major campaigns
- Proven ability to plan and execute campaigns and report on results against key performance indicators (KPIs) and budget
- A demonstrated ability to align team members toward a common goal, delegating tasks and following up on statuses
- A demonstrated ability to plan and execute cross-functional initiatives with shifting timelines and dependencies
- Time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines
- Expert level written and verbal communication skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively across interdepartmental teams
- Asana experience is a plus
