Job Description :
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounts receivable management, a strong understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication skills.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the financial success of our company while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage the accounts receivable process for domestic and international customers, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, collections and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with customers, sales, customer service and other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes promptly.
- Review aging reports and follow up on past due accounts to minimize delinquencies and maintain healthy cash flow.
- Monitor credit limits and make recommendations for adjustments based on creditworthiness and payment history.
- Maintain detailed records of customer transactions and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders regarding account status and collections efforts.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
Ideal Profile :
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field advantageous
- 2 to 5 years experience in accounts receivable management, in a manufacturing or chemical industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g. SAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem solving abilities.
- Experience working in a global or multi-national company a plus.
