Based in the Bay area, the role of the Global Key Account Manager is to grow both the revenue and profile of Littelfuse as a whole, as well as all business units at the assigned key account(s) in line with each business unit strategy.
Coordinate with the Senior Management of the respective Business Units to implement and drive a strategy to support short and long-term objectives for success - specifically revenue growth / market share and closing of New Business Opportunities.
Core Responsibilities
- Partners with senior leadership of all Business Units to develop the sales strategy for the Global Account for specific product lines at customers, end markets and / or Strategic Growth Opportunities (SGO).
- Build Executive Leadership Relationships at agreed Global Accounts
- Identifying all current and future potential business (TAM / SAM / Revenue)
- Direct B2B both at the OEM and EMS
- Channel partners both at the OEM and EMS
- Key engineering sites that need to be covered from Littelfuse Sales at Global Account
- Set Global Key Account growth targets that align to the overall company strategy and drives key customer negotiations from a global perspective.
Coordinates with the Regional Sales Leaders, local Account Managers and Distribution Managers to :
- Coordinating all pricing in line with annual negotiations at
- OEM, in all territories, both Direct and Channel
- EMS, across geographies, both Direct and EMS
- Coordinating annual negotiations (in line with each BU strategy and aligning cross BU strategy)
- Inside sales
- Product management
- EMS and Channel management
- Tracking existing and new designs as it moves from sales territory, OEM, EMS and ensuring that the business is captured
- Consistently grow NBO’s, especially Multi Technology NBO’s, at OEM and EMS who work for OEM. Maximize system usage (LFBC / SFDC) for documenting, tracking, driving to WIN and converting to revenue of all NBO’s
- Manages operational performance issues requiring wider support within Littelfuse.
Education / Experience
- Bachelor or university degree required; engineering degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in electronics industry
- Experience specifically in a Sales Organization., preferably Key Account experience
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to cope with high complexity and multi-tasking
- Willingness to travel extensively and to work from home
- High level of verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong Teamwork capability
- Positive influencing skills in informal reporting organizations, globally
- Experience in working in an intercultural organization as well as in cooperation with clients from different cultures, preferred.
