Taproom / Front of House Manager Sixpoint Brewery Brookfield Place
The Brooklyn Born Mad Scientists from Sixpoint Brewery opened their first taproom in Manhattan at the beginning of 2024 within the iconic Brookfield Place ! This taproom features 200 seats on the interior and boasts an incredible 150-seat exterior Beer Garden, offering a full bar, fully from scratch chef-crafted kitchen, Sixpoint at Brookfield Place will be the place to be any time of the year.
We are seeking another Taproom Manager who believes Beer is Culture and is ready to bring our brand of Hospitality to life in Manhattan! The ideal candidate has a passion for hospitality as well as craft beverages, bringing joy to our guests every day utilizing genuine encounters to create memorable experiences and share the Sixpoint brand.
The Sixpoint taproom will be providing guests with a wide range of innovative craft beer, original cocktails, and unparalleled food while working in a fun, collaborative environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a FOH Manager at Sixpoint, you’ll use your experience in a full service, high-volume restaurant. You will be committed to continuously striving for & delivering an outstanding guest experience and have a strong passion for culinary excellence.
- Oversee all restaurant operations including, but not limited to, supervising restaurant staff, employee hiring and training, and daily maintenance of the restaurant
- Work with the General Manager and Restaurant Management team to establish a strong team culture and create policies / procedures as needed to continually run day-to-day operations and exceed guest expectations
- Collect, evaluate and respond to guest feedback as needed
- Always ensure a smooth front-of-house operation, and step in to lead and assist staff as necessary during busy, peak times
- Assist General Manager with all sales and reporting tracking, and contributing to the preparation of reports to share with senior leadership
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 1 year as a restaurant manager
- Knowledge working in various other restaurant roles as a server, host, bartender, etc.
- Self-motivated with an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence in a fast-paced environment
- Awareness of financial components of business operations, multi-tasking issues, and prioritizing workload
- Proven ability to calmly handle stressful situations and customer complaints
- Familiarity of craft beer & / or serious interest in understanding craft beer styles and the industry
- Dedicated to passing of Level 1 (Certified Beer Server qualification) of Cicerone program within first six (6) months of employment
