- The SR Resource Specialist(Water Industry) must have knowledge or production cost modeling techniques, transmission planning principles, electric rate analysis and development, and renewable, hydro, and pumped storage project analysis and development.
- Oversee activities related to area of expertise, including development, and monitoring of budgets and oversight of consultants to ensure that responsibilities are accomplished efficiently and that results meet all company and external standards for quality, technical integrity, and compliance with applicable policies, rules, regulations, and laws.
- Serve as project team member (Water Industry a+) and / or team leader for major projects that may encompass substantial capital improvements;
special local, regional, or state-wide task forces; and joint ventures with member agencies and other external entities ensuring the successful completion of project plans.
- Oversee the annotation of project resources to meet cost and efficiency standards.
- Draft and review approval documents, environmental reviews, other legal, regulatory, and technical documents for compliance with the company and external standards, guidelines, and objectives.
- Participate in the negotiation of program conditions to ensure reliable supplies at the most cost-effective and beneficial terms for the company.
- Provide technical support to other employees within the division and to external representatives to ensure that actions taken by others are in compliance with objectives, guidelines, and policies related to area of expertise.
- May assign work, providing training and development, and help build a motivated, effective team to ensure that organizational goals for diversity, career development, productivity, performance management, and employee involvement are met.
Desires Experience Below :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, majoring in Business Administration, Economics, Environmental Sciences, Urban Planning, Geology, Geography, Hydrology, or other directly related fields.
EXPERT KNOWLEDGE :
- MSOffice (PWPT and Excel).
- KNOWLEDGE IN : 8 years of progressively responsible experience in policy development, project management, resource negotiations, and development and implementation of solutions to complex problems related to water resources.
MUST HAVE :
- 1-year supervisory level for supervisory position.
- Manage complex projects.
- Personable, Team Player, Flexible, Multitask and handles pressure well.
- Detail orient, Project Oriented, Negotiator, Organized, Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills a must.
- Valid CA driver license.
The hiring range for this position is $73 to $82 per hour. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity, and may also vary depending on candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience amongst other factors
