Candidates should be adept at preparing necessary legal documents in connection with prenuptial agreements, initiating and finalizing divorces, alimony, child support / child custody, and real estate.

Responsibilities
- Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases
- Keep client files properly organized and up to date
- Collaborate with senior partners and paralegals to effectively move files through the civil litigation process
- Help solve legal problems for clients through analyzing the situation, understanding their needs, and creating a strategic plan of action
- Ensure clients are effectively represented at court hearings as needed
Qualifications
- 5-10 years of family law experience preferred
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in highly stressful and emotional situations
- Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association)
- Undergraduate degree with a legal background and Juris Doctor degree required
- Extra consideration for those with a criminal justice background
Compensation
$120,000+
