Pay Rate : $55 on Contract W2

Job Summary :

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Data Scientist with over 15 years of industry experience in designing and implementing data-driven strategies.

This individual will lead high-impact analytics projects, build advanced machine learning models, and provide strategic insights to guide business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in data science, experience in leadership roles, and a proven track record of applying analytics to drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead Data Strategy : Develop and execute the company’s data-driven strategy in collaboration with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Advanced Analytics & Modeling : Design, build, and deploy advanced predictive and prescriptive models, including machine learning and AI solutions, to solve complex business problems.
• Big Data Management : Oversee the development, construction, and optimization of data architectures, such as large-scale data processing systems and pipelines, ensuring efficient data management.
• Database Solutions : Develop database solutions for the storage, retrieval, and analysis of large datasets, ensuring compliance with company requirements.
• Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner with product, engineering, marketing, finance, and operations teams to identify opportunities for data-driven insights and solutions to business challenges.
• Mentorship & Leadership : Guide and mentor junior data scientists and analysts, fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
• Stakeholder Communication : Present complex data insights and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
• Data Governance & Quality : Ensure adherence to best practices in data quality, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
• Innovation & Trend Analysis : Stay ahead of emerging trends in data science, exploring new tools and methodologies to continuously innovate the company’s data science practice.
• Data Analysis & Infrastructure Monitoring : Conduct performance analysis of data systems and infrastructure, making modifications as needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Experience, Skillset, and Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s or Ph.D. is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or related fields, with proven expertise in managing large-scale projects across industries such as finance, healthcare, or e-commerce.
• Expertise in programming languages : Python, R, SQL.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Proficiency in big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Extensive experience in data engineering concepts : ETL processes, database management (Hadoop, Spark), and data pipeline creation.
• Expertise in statistical analysis, machine learning, and AI algorithms, with a focus on deep learning techniques.
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and similar platforms.
• Strong leadership experience in managing and mentoring data science teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to drive business decisions through storytelling with data-driven insights.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills : Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail, ensuring the ability to work independently on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Big Data & Distributed Systems : Knowledge of distributed systems, data storage, and computing principles as they relate to large-scale data systems.

Nice-to-Have & Additional Skills :

• Expertise in Python Programming and experience with Snowflake.
• Knowledge of ETL frameworks, data pipeline management tools, and data workflow systems.
• Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases and workflow management tools.
