JOB SUMMARY :

Primary responsibility for performing financial analysis to be used by Division Ops team to assess financial and operational performance.

Provides support in invoice processing, Land budget controls, annual planning, quarterly forecasting, historical cost and budget analysis, and expense performance comparisons.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Assists in the preparation of quarterly forecasts and annual plan
  • Consolidates budget submissions from various departments and performs budget analysis
  • Ensures timely and accurate payment of our vendors and trades
  • Performs month-end responsibilities, not limited to journal entries and reconciliations
  • Reviews overhead performance and develops benchmarks to monitor performance
  • Prepares reports and analysis to management including, but not limited to variance reports and operational metrics

REQUIRED EDUCATION :

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent in related field)
  • Certified Public Accounting License (active or inactive) preferred

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :

  • Related Functional Experience : Minimum 3 years public and / or corporate accounting experience
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of GAAP and financial reports
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
