Position Summary : Sunnen is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for providing front-line support to employees, ensuring that all hardware, software, and system issues are resolved promptly and professionally.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

The Help Desk Technician will be responsible for delivering results that include the following :

• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT-related equipment.
• Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, and in-person requests from internal users across various departments.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware / software issues, escalating when necessary.
• Set up and maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
• Install, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
• Assist in onboarding and offboarding processes, including device preparation and returns.
• Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions using the IT ticketing system.
• Support audio / visual equipment and conference room setups as needed.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure high quality service and system uptime.
• Follow and contribute to IT documentation and standard operating procedures.
