Create product documentation under the direction of Engineers or Designers
Key responsibilities :
- Generate engineering drawings, bills of materials, change requests and approvals to satisfy product, project goals / requirements
- Day to day involvement with engineering and other departments as needed to accomplish tasks
- Daily interaction with engineering PDM system
- Undertake new tasks or projects as determined by current business need / requirement
Knowledge, skills & attributes preferred :
- Experience with 3D CAD software, Solidworks preferred
- Exhibit integrity, resilience, and flexibility to current and new situations
- Ability to prioritize tasks, problem solve, and manage change.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with immediate team, all participating inside and outside departments, as well as upper management
- Able to support multiple projects in varying stages of process execution with knowledge, expertise, and motivation to succeed
Experience :
- Demonstrated experience with an engineering team, in a team environment
- Minimum education drafting certificate or relevant work experience
- Hands-on manufacturing and / or product assembly experience
- Construction and / or commercial vehicle engineering experience desirable
