Requirements
Villanova Preparatory School is seeking a Database Manager & Alumni and Development Assistant to provide the needed support for the Alumni & Development office.
The successful candidate will join a committed team who work together to help connect and engage alumni, parents and friends of Villanova with the school.
This person is an integral member of Villanova’s Development team, must be extremely detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities Include :
- Using Raiser’s Edge (RE) CRM, regularly update address and contact information to ensure all contacts are maintained
- Managing the process of pulling and cleaning list in preparation for all mailings
- Ability to create and pull reports using RE as needed / requested
- Manage the daily gift entry and acknowledgments process
- Work closely with the Business Office to reconcile all gifts on a weekly basis
- Update the Giving Website with changes and new information as it is needed
- Manage all aspects of sending our annual gift summaries to all donors
- Liaison between RE and Villanova; keep up-to-date on new products and changes to the platform that affect the Dev Office work
- Support for all events including the auction, annual reunion, and mixers
- Maintain our Instagram account by mankind weekly posts of VPS activities and exciting news
- Assist Associate Director with alumni mailings
- Maintain office supplies, responsible to order items as needed
- Maintain office closet, create an inventory and order items as needed
- Enter all interactions / actions with our alumni, parents and friends into RE on a daily basis
- Work with the PO and use the NCOA to reconcile returned mail
Qualifications :
- Must have proficiency working in Raiser’s Edge. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in RENXT, the database view, and Net Community a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in an area related to office administrative support
- Development, project management or event coordination, prior nonprofit work experience a plus
- Exceptional skills in the areas of organization, attention to detail, time management, ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to define and set priorities and problem solve
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Excellent reading, writing and grammar skills. Both written and verbal
- Demonstrated team player with a strong collaboration abilities
- Ability to take initiative with projects to work independently
- BA degree preferred
- Compensation range : $22-$27 per hour. Villanova offers a full benefits package that includes fully paid medical, dental, vision, and life insurance for employees;

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range.
