Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join Cigna’s Customer Data Platform Product team as a Technical Product Lead where they will be hands-on-keyboard and responsible for building CDP interactions, up-skilling existing talent from across the enterprise, and influencing the CDP’s strategic roadmap.
Our CDP is used to unify data from around the enterprise to drive personalized, meaningful interactions with our millions of members so they’re able to get the healthcare experience they deserve.
What You’ll Be Doing
The CDP Technical Product Lead is our hands-on-keyboard resource focused on product enablement by helping up-skill resources on the CDP while partnering with them on interaction builds and overall product usage.
They’ll also serve a key role on the Product Team as a SME of our Customer Data Platform by influencing our CDP strategy and roadmap.
You can expect your week-to-week experience at Cigna to involve :
Partnering with your peers and leader on the CDP Product Team to discuss opportunities, challenges, and strategy.
Conversing with your teammates in the Digital organization to understand their priorities and how the CDP may be able to enable them to reach their goals.
Partnering with CDP interaction builders from around Cigna to :
Help them build their interactions in the CDP.
Make them self-sufficient in using the CDP themselves.
Partnering with business partners from around Cigna to build a path for them to utilize the CDP and bring powerful experiences to their customers.
Relevant Skillset
5+ years prior experience with marketing technology required , particularly those used to create multi-channel marketing campaigns.
This could include, but is not limited to, tools such as Adobe’s Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, and Optimove.
2+ years prior, hands-on-keyboard experience with a Customer Data Platform required.
Big bonus points for experience with Redpoint Global's rgOne platform, but any prior hands-on CDP experience is very relevant.
Example of other CDP vendors where your experience is relevant includes, but is not limited to, Action IQ, Adobe Real-Time CDP, mParticle, Salesforce, Tealium, and Twilio Segment.
Prior experience helping train people on marketing technology required.
You need to be excited about the opportunity to help others learn the skills necessary to operate on our CDP.
Segmentation proficiency required .
You need to have demonstrated experience in audience segmentation based on customer behavior, demographics, preferences, and other groupings.
Journey orchestration experience required .
Includes setting up end-to-end recurring journeys with optimization mechanisms like choosing best outreach channel over a period of time based on previous engagement, setting up A / B tests etc.
You should be able to speak to how the marketing technologies you've used are able to power personalized experiences or where they've perhaps fallen short in doing so.
You should be familiar , comfortable , and passionate about data, including :
Familiarity with data mapping, transformation and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL required : you don't need to be able to write complicated SQL from scratch, but you should be able to interpret statements to assist in troubleshooting.
Experience with data governance principles will be highly valued.
Understanding of database structures.
Experience designing and configuring tests to measure incremental performance as well as configuring metadata to enable their measurement.
How data can be used to power personalized experiences.
Beyond being a hands-on-keyboard rockstar, you need to be comfortable in continuous conversation with your business partners to understand requirements and requirement changes, while also informing the business strategy based on what's possible in the CDP.
To this end, you need to have a positive outlook and very collaborative nature, while caring about the nitty gritty details.
