About Us : The American Association of Christian Counselors is a leading organization committed to advancing the professional development of counseling professionals within a Christian framework.
We are currently seeking a sharp, innovative, and dedicated Email Marketer and Automation Assistant to join our team.
Role Overview : In this role, you'll be the right-hand person to our Director of Email Marketing, helping to bring our content and email campaigns to life.
You'll dive into market research, uncovering the insights that will help us connect with our audience.
You'll also flex your creative muscles, crafting content and writing email copy that grabs attention and inspires action.
You will work with team members across our organization, making sure we're all rowing in the same direction when it comes to promoting our offerings.
We need someone who knows or is willing to learn how to make email / sales copy flow, and who's always on top of the latest tech trends that can help us deliver and track our campaigns more effectively.
Responsibilities :
- Market research to uncover insights about consumer behaviors that will shape our marketing strategies.
- Review past campaigns to identify areas of strength and weakness, which will inform future efforts.
- Conceptualizing and executing campaigns that speak directly to the needs and pain points of our customers.
- Craft compelling copy that's not just free from mistakes, but also resonates with our audience and inspires action.
- Collaborate with graphic designers to enhance the appearance and layout of outputs.
- Assist in monitoring, cleaning, and maintaining contact segmentation and lists
- Working primarily in Hubspot CRM with all Marketing Hub features
- Monitor, update, and troubleshoot workflows to ensure smooth operation.
- Report on the utility and effectiveness of each campaign.
- Assist in writing SMS / Texting campaigns as needed
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
- Strong writing skills
- Basic understanding of marketing principles
- Familiarity with email marketing and automation software (like Hubspot CRM) is a bonus, but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills (this is key)
- Basic understanding of consumer behaviors
- A willingness to learn and grow
- Familiarity with Microsoft systems like Outlook and Teams.
