They are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk , you will play a key role in supporting their finance department by performing various accounting and administrative tasks.
Accounts Receivable Clerk Responsibilities :
- Generate and distribute invoices to customers in a timely manner
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
- Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Maintain accurate and complete financial records, including customer accounts and payment histories
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding invoices and payments in a professional and timely manner
- Prepare regular reports on account status and collection activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards
- Provide necessary documentation and support during financial audits
Accounts Receivable Clerk Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field preferred
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or a similar accounting role is required
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles
