AR Assistant (Part Time Temp)
Job Summary :
The AR Assistant role will assist the Collections and AR Manager with billing and accounts receivable, and collections activities.
With responsibilities ranging from invoicing and posting of cash receipts the AR Assistant works closely with the Accounting team to ensure financial and operational efficiency and accuracy.
THIS IS A TEMPORARY 6-MONTH POSITION
2 DAYS PER WEEK WITH POTENTIAL OF FULLTIME & PERMANENT IN 2025
Responsibilities :
- Posting of all cash receipts to the correct accounts in accurate and timely process.
- Posting credit memos and deposits accounts to the correct accounts in accurate and timely process.
- Upload customer invoicing on schedule
- Craft and initiate effective collections notices and activities to minimize overdue accounts, this may include contacting customers for payment.
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or the equivalent in professional experience and education
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable
- Minimum of 2 years of Salesforce experience
- Collections experience is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Have a solid work ethic that includes doing the right thing, being reliable, trustworthy and honest
