Job Title : Contracts Maintenance Specialist
Labor Grade : 9
Department : Contracts
Reports To : Manager, Contracts Maintenance
FLSA Status : Local 153 - Non-Exempt
Salary Range : As established by contract
Summary : This individual will report to the Contracts Maintenance Manager and assist in ensuring accurate contract information on all employers obligated under a collective bargaining agreement, participation agreement, or other legal instrument to contribute to the Benefit Funds.
Information is maintained in various systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Review Collective Bargaining Agreements, participation agreements, memorandums of agreement and other legal instruments as they relate to the Funds
- Maintain contract information on the Funds information system
- Maintain account maintenance in Funds information system
- Prepares contract summary reports and verification of account set-ups to Management
- Evaluates incoming data related to file maintenance, employee status files and contracts maintenance
- May be required to monitor progress of work completed based upon criteria as determined by Management
- Assists in problem solving issues
- Communicates with employer as required
- Maintain contracts for the Funds records
- Maintain system files (employer, building, contract, provision, rates, hire / term, and any other related files)
- Provide Ad Hoc reports as requested
- Liaison with Union’s Contract Department to maintain accurate records and provide reports and other documents as requested
- Work with other departments to resolve owner, employer, and contract provision issues.
- Conduct system testing (system upgrades)
- Assist with Inbox coverage when required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Technical Skills :
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- A demonstrated capability to manipulate and use multiple software programs and macros simultaneously including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Windows applications

Education and / or Experience : College graduate or equivalent experience. A working knowledge of the benefits provided through Building Service 32BJ Benefit Funds and the relationship to the Funds Contracts.
Language Skills : Read, write and understand English
