- Provides regular project status updates, communicating progress, risks, and issues to relevant stakeholders and senior management.
- Collaborates with internal and external teams to share information, build relationships, and achieve shared goals.
- Conducts regular assessments of data governance practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Manages institutional-level projects in collaboration with data governance leadership.
- Develops and implements project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring successful execution of institutional-level projects in alignment with data governance and IR objectives.
- Establishes and maintains effective communication channels to foster ongoing collaboration and engagement among stakeholders involved in data governance and IR initiatives.

Required Education
Bachelor's Degree
Seven (7) years of relevent work experience and / or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Required Experience
- Three (3) years of relevant work experience in a technical or functional role working with data.
- Experience in and functional understanding of complex data environments.
- Familiarity with defining and tracking performance indicators.
- Ability to develop methods of implementing institutional initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate, lead and influence within and across teams.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication.
- Experience providing training and support.
- Demonstrated ability to develop skills and competencies.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Experience with data governance in an academic environment.
- Demonstrated success driving a project forward.
- Experience synthesizing information for senior leaders.
- Experience maintaining administrative and software systems supporting the implementation of data governance priorities.
- Experience as a subject matter expert regarding the interpretation and documentation of data governance policies and processes.
- Experience mentoring and teaching others.
