We are looking to add a commercial superintendent to the Grand Rapids team. The role of a Construction Superintendent is to oversee the general management and execution of a construction project.
Create a construction schedule with assigned PMs and ensure that the project remains on schedule. Superintendents will be expected to oversee on-site subcontractors daily and ensure they are performing the desired work.
Superintendents will be expected to communicate often with the assigned Project Manager, client, and Vice President of Construction.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the daily construction of a project.
- Manage subcontractor relationships and project teams.
- Communicate daily with Project Management and trade teams assigned to your project.
- Oversee multiple projects at one time.
- Perform weekly project updates for clients and Executives.
- Hold on-site subcontractor meetings and client meetings.
- Ensure construction schedules and budgets are met.

This is a contract to hire position with an initial contract duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Work Environment
The superintendent will report to the Grand Rapids office but will be responsible for their specific jobsite. This individual will be responsible for one job at a time with a small overlap between project takeoffs.
