Our client is a small local Manufacturer locate in Salem NH looking to bring on their first HR Person for the company. As The HR Manager you will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the manufacturing facility.

This role is essential for maintaining a productive and compliant workplace, fostering a positive employee culture, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Job Overview : Recruitment and Staffing : Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding.

Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs.Employee Relations : Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.

Foster a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and conflict resolution.Conduct exit interviews and analyze turnover data to improve retention strategies.

Performance Management : Develop and implement performance appraisal systems.Provide training to managers on conducting performance reviews and giving constructive feedback.

Assist in setting performance goals and career development plans for employees.Training and Development : Identify training needs and implement employee development programs.

Organize safety training and compliance workshops in line with manufacturing regulations.Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make improvements as needed.

Compensation and Benefits : Administer payroll, benefits, and compensation programs.Conduct market research to ensure competitive salary structures.

Manage employee benefits enrollment and resolve related issues.Compliance and Policy Management : Ensure compliance with labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies.

Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures.Maintain employee records and ensure confidentiality.Health and Safety : Collaborate with safety officers to promote workplace safety.

Assist in the development of safety policies and compliance tracking.Support initiatives to create a culture of safety within the organization.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a manufacturing environment.Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills : Leadership and team management abilities.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Excellent organizational and time management skills.
